Most of the people use the smartphone camera in their daily life. If the Camera Output is not good then it will a complete rush for a person. It’s truly a fact for us. The Mobile company offer us about bigger MegaPixel phone every time but when it comes about the performance of the camera it is not so good at the performance which is a complete mess up for us.
So for the betterment of all of us who are very much fond of using the smartphone camera, we will discuss the Camera features that really does matter in the case of better performance.
So, 12MP or 18MP which one is better?
Most of us thinking that 18MP should be the one in the case of better performance.
NO, MP not even matters in case of better performance. It just the resolution of a picture. Pixels are the small unit of a picture. All the pixels combined and make a photo. “MP” means a million pixels. 1 million = 10 lakhs. so 12MP means 12 million pixels and 18 MP means 18 million pixels. When it comes about the better quality image MP really doesn’t matter much.
What really matters for a better quality image, we will discuss it. Some Factors are given below:

Sensors
The most important part of the camera is, what kind of sensor is used in the camera and from which company. You have to know about the quality of sensor like which company’s sensor is a little better in the recent marketplace etc.
Image sensors consist of millions of light-sensitive spots called photosites which are used to record information about what is seen through the lens. Therefore, it stands to reason that a bigger sensor can gain more information than a smaller one and produce better images.
Sensor Size
Better Image quality also greatly depends on the Sensor Size. If the Sensor size is bigger it would be able to gather more information about the image. But for a bigger sensor, we also need bigger lenses which is pretty much costly. That’s why Smartphone company use a smaller sensor so they can reduce the cost of a bigger lens.
Above on the picture, you can see different type frames of sensors. Full frame, APS-H, APS-C, 1.5”, Micro Four Thirds 4/3” and many more.
Smartphone uses mostly 1/3.2” which frame size is 4.54 x 3.42mm and you can easily compare the size with the others in the pictures.
Focus
You have to check which type of focusing using on the camera. There are different types of focusing used in camera but among those “laser Focusing” is the better one. So always keep an eye on that while choosing better quality camera phone.
Image processing
If your Camera has all the feature that makes your image better but your processing system is not so good then all are going to be busted at the end. So you have to know which processing system is used on your phone. A lower quality features camera can take a better image when you have better image processing system.
